The brief
Juan Marko is a small Filipino restaurant in Guyong, Santa Maria, Bulacan, serving silog, pares, sizzling plates and soups. The brief was to design an identity that felt as warm and familiar as the food itself — local, generous, and unpretentious.
The challenge with food identity is keeping it grounded. Too clever and it stops looking like dinner; too literal and it stops looking like design. For Juan Marko the brief settled in the middle — an identity that felt like a recipe handed down, not a campaign.
Outcome
The identity rolled out across signage, menu, packaging and social. The full system and applications are documented on Behance.
